13 January 1976 - Bayda Books was set up in Melbourne as a publishing house for Ukrainian literature translated into English.

1977 - Bayda Books begins selling Ukrainian books from Ukraine to the diaspora.

1979 - Mail-order service instituted. Customers supplied around the world.

1989 - Books from Ukraine begin to be imported directly, not through the Soviet agency Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga.

1990 - Kyiv office is set up; Ukrainian diaspora titles sold in Ukraine under auspices of Shevchenko Language Society.

1994 - Russian language books offered.

2003 - Moved into new office/showroom premises.

2007 - eBooks page launched

2009 - New look website
